# Delete your account (Help)

Permanently delete your QRdx account and what's in it. Your dynamic codes stop working.

Deleting your account **can't be undone**. Your personal dynamic codes stop working: scanners see "QR code not found". [Export your data](https://qrdx.dev/docs/help/account-and-billing/export-your-data) first.

## Delete [#delete]

1. Go to **Settings** → **Account**.
2. Under **Danger zone**, click **Delete account…**.
3. Type `delete` to confirm.
4. Click **Email me a code** and type the 6-digit code we send you.
5. Click **Delete account**.

## What gets deleted [#what-gets-deleted]

Your personal workspace: its codes, scans, pages, files and domains, plus your themes, webhooks and integrations. You're signed out on every device.

## Your subscription [#your-subscription]

If you pay for Pro or Business, QRdx cancels the subscription straight away.

## Your teams [#your-teams]

- In a team where you're the only member, the team is deleted.
- In a team with other members, another member becomes owner and keeps the team's codes and pages.

## Just want to stop paying? [#just-want-to-stop-paying]

You don't need to delete your account. [Cancel your subscription](https://qrdx.dev/docs/help/account-and-billing/cancel) and your codes keep working on Free.
