Free Spotify QR Code Generator
A Spotify QR code opens a song, album, playlist, podcast or artist page in Spotify. Musicians put it on posters, flyers and merch; cafés, gyms and shops use it to share the playlist that's playing; couples print it on wedding invitations.
Paste a share link (open.spotify.com/...) or a Spotify URI (spotify:track:...). Share links work for everyone, opening in the app if it's installed and in Spotify's web player otherwise, while spotify: URIs only open when the Spotify app is installed.
How to create a Spotify QR code
- 1In Spotify, open the song, album, playlist or podcast and choose Share, then Copy link.
- 2Paste the link into the field.
- 3Scan the preview to check that it opens the right item.
- 4Download the code as PNG or SVG.

- Share links often end in ?si=..., a share identifier. You can delete it for a shorter code and the link still works.
- Spotify Codes (the sound-wave codes in the app) only scan inside Spotify; a QR code works with any camera.
- Podcast shows and single episodes have share links too, so you can link one episode.
Spotify QR code FAQ
Share link or Spotify URI: which should I use?
Use the share link. It works with or without the Spotify app installed; a spotify: URI does nothing on phones without the app.
Do people need a Spotify account?
Spotify may ask them to log in or sign up to listen, depending on the content and their country.
Can I link my artist profile?
Yes. Copy the link from your artist page with Share, then Copy link, and paste it here.
