A Google Drive QR code opens a file or folder from Google Drive: a PDF menu, a price list, a photo album, course materials, or a shared folder for event photos.
Paste a Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides or Drawings link. Before printing, set sharing to 'Anyone with the link', otherwise people who scan it will see a request-access screen. In the full editor you can also connect Google Drive and pick a file from your account.
How to create a Google Drive QR code

- The link stays the same when you edit the file, so you can update a menu or schedule without reprinting, as long as you edit the same file.
- Uploading a replacement file creates a new link. For PDFs and images, use Manage versions in Drive to keep the existing link.

Why do people see 'You need access'?
The file isn't shared publicly. Set General access to 'Anyone with the link' in the Share dialog.
Can I update the file without a new code?
Yes. Edit the same file, or upload a new version with Manage versions, and the link keeps working.
Does QRdx access my Google Drive?
Not on this page; pasting a link doesn't connect anything. Only if you connect Google Drive in the full editor can QRdx list files for you to pick.
