Free X (Twitter) QR Code Generator
An X (formerly Twitter) QR code opens your profile so people can follow you from a poster, a conference slide or a business card. Enter your handle and QRdx builds the link.
The code uses a twitter.com profile link, which X redirects to x.com, and it opens in the X app when installed. Handles are short, so these codes stay simple and scan easily even when printed small, for example on a conference badge or the corner of a slide.
How to create a X (Twitter) QR code
- 1Type your handle, with or without the @.
- 2Check that the encoded link ends with your handle.
- 3Scan the preview to make sure your profile opens.
- 4Download the code as PNG or SVG.

X (Twitter) QR code format
Format
https://twitter.com/<handle>Example
https://twitter.com/NASA- QRdx removes a leading @ from the handle.
- Handles contain letters, numbers and underscores, up to 15 characters.
- To share a single post, copy its link and use the URL generator.
- Handles are not case-sensitive, so twitter.com/nasa and twitter.com/NASA open the same profile.
- Links to an X Community or List also work: copy the link and use the URL generator.
X (Twitter) QR code FAQ
Why does the code use twitter.com instead of x.com?
Both work, because twitter.com links redirect to x.com. If you want x.com in the code, paste https://x.com/yourhandle into the URL generator.
What if I change my handle?
The handle is part of the link, so generate a new code after changing it.
Can I link to a specific post?
Yes. Copy the post's link and use the URL generator instead of this one.
Do people need an X account?
X may limit what logged-out visitors can see and ask them to sign in. Following you always requires an account.
