A scan shows an error page
What each QR code error page means, from "QR code not found" to "This campaign has ended", and how to fix it.
When a dynamic code can't open its destination, scanners see a short page. Here's what each one means.
"QR code not found"
This is a 404 page: the short link doesn't belong to any code.
- The code was deleted forever.
- The code's back-half or domain was changed after it was printed.
- The account that owned it was deleted.
- The link was typed by hand with a mistake. Short links are case-sensitive.
A deleted code can't come back. If you changed the back-half, change it back with Edit link.
"This QR code is no longer active"
The code is archived or in the trash. Choose Unarchive or Restore in Codes. See Archive, delete and restore codes.
QRdx also turns off codes that link to harmful sites.
"This campaign is paused", "hasn't started yet" or "has ended"
These come from the code's own settings: a pause, a start or end date, or a scan limit. Change them in Access & schedule. See Pause, schedule or limit a code.
"This QR code is password protected"
The code has a password. Enter it and click Continue. See Protect a code with a password.
"Too many requests"
One network opened a lot of QR codes in a few seconds. Wait a moment and scan again.
"This domain isn't connected yet"
The code uses a custom domain whose DNS setup isn't finished. Check the domain on the Domains page in your dashboard.
"This page could not be found" on a page
A mobile page at /p/… shows this when the page was deleted or the address was mistyped.
"This form isn't accepting responses right now"
The workspace reached its monthly form response limit. See Collect answers with a form.
